Mosaic Mosaics are designs made from small square pieces of glass or stone. The Romans used them for floors. In the Romanesque and Byzantine periods designers used them extensively for interior designs on churches, and designers in the 20th century used them for public buildings and schools. Prague has some of the most beautiful Art Deco mosaics in the world. |
